Overview

My name is Ms. Molly Ruvelson. This is my first year teaching at Benjamin E. Mays IB World School, but I am excited to be a part of this growing community! 

I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology, with a minor in biology from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN. I recently obtained my master's degree in teaching from my alma mater. Before becoming a classroom teacher, I spent 12 years working in special education in Bloomington, MN. I am passionate about learning and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

Our classroom theme this year is that together we shine and grow. I believe we all should try to be our best selves at school. We can rise to challenges, embrace a growth mindset, and work together to create a kind community where each of us can shine bright.
