Welcome Back to Art at Mays! 

My name is Lindsay Walker and I am entering my 7th year teaching visual arts at Benjamin E. Mays IB World School. I hold a Minnesota K-12 licence in teaching Art, BA in Art and M.Ed in Art Education through the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. In my own studio practice, I enjoy making functional pottery, relief prints, and painting. When not making art, I love being outside, cooking, and playing with my two-year-old daughter, Edie. 

I am excited for a new year working with each K-5 artist in our community and further discovering their individual unique and distinctive qualities through their studio practice. We will paint. We will draw. We will sculpt, cut, glue, animate, analyze and take our work as far as our materials and imaginations can take us!
