The Autism Program has been part of the Benjamin E. Mays school community for more than 10 years.
Our staff has a broad range of experience working with children who have Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
The international Baccalaureate develops inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
Parents are also welcome to become involved in many school activities, such as, visiting your child’s classroom, participating in field trips, tutoring students, etc. Volunteerism is recommended.
Principal Kirk Morris brings a wealth of experience in helping our students gain the educational support they need to succeed. Principal Morris believes it “takes a village” to educate our students and he will continue the strong sense of school community created by Principal Tyrone Brookins.
